The Housley House offers a variety of guest rooms with private baths. Each room is accented with beautiful woodwork and marble pieces set in 19th century Victorian and Colonial style.
The rooms have comfy queen-size Victorian beds with luxurious bedding that adds to the romantic feel of the Victorian age.
The master bedroom, named The Dillin, is the center of all attention. Just like the man that it was named after, Larry Dillin, of Dillin Development, the beautiful Victorian room is exquisite, yet simple and masculine. A private bath is attached to the bedroom. Your senses will heighten as you walk into it. There you will see a wonderful hand-painted wall of cherubs and roses that surround the jetted tub for two. Candles, rose petals, Kenny G, a bottle of wine and two soft robes await for that special relaxing moment, if you should so desire, at an additional small fee. There is also a beautiful shower for two.
You will find the view from the Victorian-style windows in The Dillin room outstanding. This is the perfect spot for the private breakfast for two as you overlook the historical Maumee River in the quaint little town of Grand Rapids, Ohio, from Front Street.
The beautiful Rose Room is Teresa Marie's favorite. The magnificiant hand carved queen size sleigh bed w/ leather accents makes you want to nestle in for the stay. The English garden is the view of the Rose Room. Perfectly framing your experience of this treasured delight. The private bathroom has a spacious shower and beautiful accents of roses and lace.
